Karel Office at office.karelkana.eu is a pilot service. For support, faults or reports of illegal content, contact admin@karelkana.eu. Describe the issue and include a link; never send passwords.

Accounts and service

Registration requires an email address and verification, a username and password. Keep your email current, use a strong password and protect your credentials. Minors may use the service with a legal representative's permission where required by applicable law.

A free account includes 15 GB of personal cloud storage, measured by the service against the account's allocated quota. Available document, spreadsheet, presentation and other editors connect to your account. Some editors are experimental and require manual export and saving.

PDF converters, Photo Resizer and text sharing are available without registration. Supported formats and features depend on the tool and browser.

Additional storage

50, 100 and 200 GB plans are available by non-binding enquiry. Submitting the form creates no paid order, subscription or payment obligation. Price, available capacity, service period and other terms must be agreed before activation.

500, 1000 and 2000 GB options are planned and cannot currently be ordered. Free accounts do not automatically become paid subscriptions.

Your content and sharing

You retain your rights to your content. The operator may technically store, display, convert and back it up as needed for the features you use. Only upload content you are entitled to use.

You are responsible for recipients, sharing permissions and content you publish. Protect access links as credentials. Revoking a share does not remove copies recipients have already downloaded.

Pastebin stores encrypted content. The key is in the link fragment after #. Anyone with the full link can read the text; send an optional password through a separate channel. Losing the link or password may make recovery impossible. Burn-after-reading cannot prevent a recipient making a copy.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service for illegal content, infringement of others' rights, malware, spam, fraud, unauthorised data access or attacks against systems. Do not bypass limits, create accounts to exhaust storage or overload the service with automated requests.

Do not put sensitive personal information in public shares. When processing others' personal data, ensure you have appropriate authority and meet your obligations. Where business use requires a data-processing agreement, arrange one with the operator first.

Availability, exports and backups

The pilot service has no agreed continuous-availability guarantee. Features may have limitations, defects and downtime. File conversions may not preserve layout or content exactly. Check important outputs and keep your own copies.

Operational backups are local. They are not a separate user backup service or a guarantee that a particular file can be restored. Cloud documents are not generally end-to-end encrypted and can be technically accessible to authorised administrators. Security measures cannot eliminate every risk.

Liability is governed by applicable law. These terms do not remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.

Restrictions, closure and changes

Access may be temporarily restricted for abuse, breaches of these rules or immediate security risks. We will explain the reason and available remedy unless legal or security reasons prevent this. You can challenge a restriction by email.

You can stop using the service and request account closure at admin@karelkana.eu. Download needed files first; we may verify your identity to protect the account. Deletion and retention are explained in our privacy information.

Material changes or closure of the service will be announced on the website and through an available contact channel for registered users. Unless urgent security or legal requirements apply, users will have time to export files and stop using the service before a change takes effect. New rules do not apply retrospectively.
